How the get serial #, phone damaged

My son’s iPhone 7 was water damaged; he needs the IMEI/MEIC info for new phone tranfer and can’t get a callback from the Cincinnati Apple Store (appt only). Any suggestions?

Find the serial number or IMEI on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

The serial number is also on the iPhone’s box that came from the factory, as well as its original receipt.

Very sensible, but this is a 22-yr-old whose generation isn’t very good with paperwork. 😃 I doubt he has either.

No.

But again, as the linked article above describes, the serial number may be found on the iPhone’s body.
