Recently Deleted folder

We all know when we delete a photo from the gallery it automatically moves to the deleted photo folder and stays there for 30 days until it gets deleted permanently. So as the days go by the it countdown the days until it gets deleted permanently. But has anyone noticed the dates getting refreshed on random photos in the deleted folder.

I deleted some photos from the gallery and it was moved to the deleted photos folder and it had 14 days left to be deleted permanently, but other day I was trying to recover some other photos which I deleted accidentally from the folder back to gallery and I noticed the photos which had 14 days on it went back to 29 days.

I gave my phone to a friend to take some photos and I noticed this change when he gave the phone back.

I am a bit worried if he might have recovered those photos to share and deleted them back again.

Not sure if this is a glitch, If anyone had the similar experience please let me know.
