Hello,
Since I reinstalled the OS on my MPB, I cannot use the full storage space the SSD has. It only shows available 71,56 gb to use but my SSD has 240gb. I wonder If I erase the partition or if it was the system itself.
What can I do to recover this space?
Try erasing the whole physical drive as GUID partition and APFS (top option) using these instructions so Disk Utility shows the physical drive which is now hidden by default in recent versions of macOS:
