Everytime I open my macbookair it asks for my password....how can I avoid this

Every time I open my MacBook Air it asks for my password...how can I avoid this

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.12

Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy > General tab. Uncheck “Require password…”
