Step counter has stopped. It has not updated in 3 hours. How can I fix this?

My step counter(Apple Health) has not updated in 3 hours. I have turned phone off and rebooted. Still not counting steps.

iPhone 6s, iOS 13

Do you use an Apple Watch along with your iPhone?


Are you using iOS 13.6? If not, try updating: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


If that doesn't help, try tapping Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness. Are Fitness Tracking and Health both enabled? If not, make sure both are on. If they're both on already, try toggling them off and back on. Then, Restart your iPhone and see if that has cleared up the issue.
