Help for the iphone 8

My iPhone 8 is in recovery mode and still will not update or restore using the iTunes. It is also connecting to my laptop but not in iTunes to sync. The whole reason for this was because my iPhone had become disabled and needed to be connected to iTunes.

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 13

Just to be sure, double-check the steps you took against this article:

If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled - Apple Support

If you are still having trouble after doing so, I would suggest that you make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them take a look and provide you with your options.
