Mac Pro 2010 clean install to Mojave

Hello. I have a 2010 Mac Pro that I want to do a clean install of Mojave. My question is: Do I need to install High Sierra before I install Mojave? I’ve read a few things that said I do but since I was doing a clean install, I thought I’d double check. I have a supported metal graphics card. Thanks so much!

Will Final Cut Pro 10.4.6 work on Mojave OSX 10.14 I have a Mac Book Pro 15 inch Mid 2012 machine. I am currently running OS 10.13.6 High Sierra. I am trying to determine whether it is "safe" to upgrade the OS to 10.14 Mojave, without creating problems with Final Cut Pro. Currently Software Update is NOT offering me updates to either the OS (from my current 10.13.6) OR an update for Final Cut. I attach images of specs for the two graphics cards installed on the Mac Book Pro. The Apple Website has conflicting information about whether or not I can upgrade to Mojave OX 10.14 As the screen grab shows, both cards in my machine support Metal but the specific cards I have aren't in the approved apple list. Please see what this Apple page says. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208898#cards So I suppose it's a two part questions 1) CAN I upgrade to Mac OSX 10.14 Mojave on my mid 2012 Mac Book Pro, generally? 2) IF I do this upgrade, will I have a problem with Final Cut Pro? I added the metal graphics card to my MacPro (2012), but can't find mac OS Mojave in the app store. Where can I find the download for Mojave? Where do I locate the mac OS Mojave download to upgrade my current system? I can't find it in the app store.

No you do not need to install High Sierra first.

You should have run 10.13.6 at some point, according to this article:

Install macOS 10.14 Mojave on Mac Pro (Mid 2010) and Mac Pro (Mid 2012) - Apple Support

Running 10.13.6 at some point allows the firmware to be updated to a more appropriate version.
