Create a tempo track in LPX after recording

The smart tempo in Logic Pro X has always confused me!

Having done a free recording of several tracks, is it possible to create a tempo track from the recordings without the regions shifting? Basically the tracks were recorded at approximately 150 bpm but not to the fixed tempo. I'd like to change the tempo track without altering anything else.

If anyone could point me to a tutorial that would be great but any help appreciated.

Here is a link to my YouTube video where I explain that.

Although I demonstrate it while recording a free (un-clicked) session in ADAPT mode, it is the same concept when applying Smart Tempo later. THe crucial part to understand is the Smart Tempo Multitrack Set that you create, so Logic treats/applies the Smart Tempo to all the Tracks that belong to a Multitrack Set as a "unit", so they stay in sync.

Select all the Regions and with-cick on them to select the command "Create Smart Tempo Multitrack Set" in the Tempo submenu.

Hope that helps,
