"Other System Data" using all of my iPhone storage

Other system data is taking up 44 GB of storage on my phone. I have tried deleting things to make room, but the other system data steals it. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I uploaded my photos to iCloud on my PC. If I completely reset my phone will my photos be safe?

Hello moehoey,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. From your post, it appears there is a lot of space being used by 'Other.' We'll do what we can to help.

If you haven't already, back up then update your iPhone to the latest version (iOS 13.6): Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you're still seeing a large amount of 'Other' data or are already on the latest version, reach out to Apple Support directly: Get Support

Have a great day.
