Higher Wattage plugs worth it ?

Is the higher wattage plug worth to use for a MacBook Air?

As you know when you buy a new MacBook air we are given a 30-watt charger which takes around 2-3 hours to charge the laptop, however, I would like to know that is it, okay using the higher ones as apple has not really recommended the use of it. They say that the 61w is efficient for the pro 13 and the higher 96w is perfect for the 16p pro model. Even though Apple has said this I would like to have a faster charger since I am always on my laptop typing docs and editing videos and photos.
