iPad not opening email attachments

Hello,

My iPad has recently stopped opening some email attachments with the error message ‘Couldn’t load file’ . It does this with both PDF and Word docs, but will open some of these documents - i’m not sure how it chooses which ones i can open - maybe file size? This happens across multiple emails from many different senders so is not a one-off problem.

i have attached two screenshots, both are PDFs from the same email - one is able to be opened and the other not. Is anyone able to let me know what the problem could be and how to sort it?
