Why do I keep seeing a Recovered email mailbox?

About 3 times a week in the Mail app I see a new mailbox named Recovered emails. Why does it do this and what can I do to stop it.

Also I tried the Rebuild Mailbox but that option is NOT there when I right click that mailbox.

What is Apple Mail Follow Up? Since upgrading to Ventura 13, having an odd Mail behavior. All of a surgeon a bunch of previously viewed emails pop up in the inbox, ones that were removed from that box, and they have the words "Follow Up" in the upper right corner in the sidebar. I have to review each of them and delete them again. Why is this happening, and most importantly, how can I turn it off? — Richard

Apple Mail Prior to Big Sur, when I deleted an email it went to the "Trash" mailbox in the Apple Mail app. With Big Sur, it simply disappears (in spite of there being a Trash mailbox in the app). To find the deleted email I have to go to my Gmail account (which is listed near the bottom of my Apple Mail app.) I want my Apple Mail Trash mailbox to function again!
