Error when trying to watch movie on Apple TV app

I have a free subscription of Apple TV on my iPad. When trying to watch any video, I receive the message “This video isn’t available to watch in the country or region you’re currently in”. I’m in the US and my settings say I’m in the US.


How do I fix this error?

Try signing out for your Apple ID account for the TV app (and the iTunes Store and App Store).

Then sign in again to refresh.


If you can't stream or watch movies or TV shows from the Apple TV app, iTunes Store, or third-party apps - Apple Support
