My Macbook 2012 does not boot.
the operating sytem is that before this latest one. Can’t even remeber the name at this point.
i started it in safe mode shift cmd v
I got the following message:
”could not find apfs system volume handle”
what do I do now? 😐

I'd boot the 2013 from an external bootable source compatible with that Mac. Then use Disk Utility on the internal drive and install a different system. Save your personal data first if you can.
use command then r. or option command then r to get to a system to install.
I bought a sats->usb cable and connected it to my mac mini. There was all the data to copy! 😊
I erased the disc and trying to reinstall from time machine backup.
The disc was almost full so that might have been the problem.

But I don’t know if I can save data in time machine from here?
Is the SSD disc umounted (does that mean not connected)?
when I use disc utility on the disc (which is greyd out in the side bar and looking at the details it seems so!??
