Security breach reported to me via phone

I received a phone call saying it was Apple security and that my ICloud account had been breach and was in the process of being reset. It was a recording and then placed me on hold when I hit the #1 to speak with a customer service rep. Was I just hacked and is this some type of phishing.

It’s a phishing scam. Apple does not make such calls. The only way you’d know if Apple disabled your AppleID would be when you tired to use it and got a notification it was disabled. You could then call them, but they won’t call you unless you’ve called them first about an issue.

And your AppleID is working fine as you could login here and post with it.
