My HomePod stops playing music when I receive an email on iPhone - how do I stop this happening without turning off the notifications on my iPhone

HomePod Mini Apple Music Alarm not Loading So I just got my Homepod Mini this morning. I love it it works for everything I need it to within my smart home set up but the one thing that doesn't work is setting Apple Music as an Alarm. When I go into set it for apple music it just shows loading (reference image below) I've tried restarting it, resetting it, redownloading the home app, messing with my apple music settings and I just can't seem to figure it out. My IPhone 14 pro is on version 16.3.1 my homepod is on version 16.3.2. Not sure where the problem is but I hope to know someone else has figured it out. TL;DR Homepod apple music alarm not loading

iPhone Notifications/Sounds are Extremely Loud When Connected to Homepod When my iPhone is streaming music to the Homepod, any sounds played locally on the phone (SMS/Whatsapp notifications, keyboard typing clicks) are at TOP volume on the phone. It does not appear that adjusting any local volume on the phone helps. I have seen several other complaints about this issue spanning back a couple of years, so this is apparently a larger issue than my phone or my Homepod. Has anyone found a solution for this?

Is this happening while you Airplay from iPhone to HomePod?

Make sure your iOS software is up to date

Close the music app - How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Restart your iOS device (until the Apple logo appears)
