Thanks for such a quick reply Jeff, but I’ve already done that. I’ve also reinstalled Mojave twice, reset the SMC, NVRAM, started in Safe Mode etc. I actually took it to an Apple repair centre as well and the guy told me that apparently the extra RAM modules I’d put in it were most likely causing the crashes. Thing is I installed those about two years ago and they never caused me any hassle, which surprised the technician big time as well. However, I did take them out, cleaned them throughly and ran a proper memory check three times and it showed no errors whatsoever. It also stayed on for the whole day yesterday without restarting and I did some recording on it without any issues. It only happened overnight when it was sleeping.
Your panic report lists the OS version as 18G103, the most current version should show 18G6020. What peripherals are attached? My sleep issues are usually caused my peripherals. Do you have any scheduled tasks that need to wake the computer from sleep?
Wow that’s really strange as when I check for updates on the App Store it doesn’t show anything! Is there another way in which I could access that latest version you’ve mentioned??
I’ve got an external SSD plugged in, as well as an ilok, a MIDI keyboard and a thunderbolt 3 audio interface. However, I’ve had these for a while.
Thanks again for taking your time to help me out, it’s truly appreciated!
Hey Jeff just a quick word to tell you my system hasn't crashed yet since we last spoke....fingers crossed it will stay that way!!! I still can't get my head round the fact that the update wasn't showing up on my App Store....anyway!!!
Thanks again!
All the best,
Jon
I would start by uploading to the latest version of Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6. Updates often contain fixes and this could quickly solve your issue. You can update via the Apple App Store.
Just found the update by the way, downloading it now. Don’t know why it didn’t show up on App Store...
Great thanks. Doing it now, will keep you posted.
Ok update done. My system is a bit slow now but I'll look into that later on. So far so good. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again, Jeff.
Your welcome. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
You're welcome. I just saw this, and the I’m sorry for the late reply. I’m so glad you got this resolved.
