Hello, i was caught in the rain and now my iPhone XS Max is not working. The screen will come on but it does not react to anything that i push. I am aware that these phones are "waterproof" so unsure how rain can do so much damage. Can you please help me with getting my iPhone to work again?

It can NOT go "several meters into the water".
You're confusing testing methodology with real world use.

Liquid damage can not be repaired. You will have to get the phone replaced.

Water damage can not be repaired and the device must be replaced.
No iPhone has ever been made waterproof.

The device has liquid detectors built in and if they have been triggered no repair attempt will be made.
Nope. That's not how it works and water damage is not covered by the standard warranty.
