When l hit install it goes for a couple of seconds then it stops

The new software has been downloaded, but when l try to install it , it goes for awhile then it stops.

Delete the downloaded software and then download it again. Go to Settings>General>iPhone Storage. Let the list of apps load. Swipe to find the iOS software. Tap on it. Delete it in the next screen. Restart your phone then download the software again.
