I am look at buying a I Mac for kids E-learning in the fall and zoom meetings for my work. The options I am looking at can have a built in webcam and/or a front facing camera. Do I need both?

How can I use continuity camera with my Mac studio when it isn't connected to a webcam to begin with? I connect my mac studio to a monitor that doesn't have a camera. So when using any video call related app the camera is immediately off. Zoom for example there is no option to "change camera". There is no camera connected to begin with so I have no drop down menu to select my iPhone in zoom or meets. It works with my macbook, but my macbook has a webcam. I want to use this continuity camera with my desktop because it doesn't have a webcam to begin with.

External webcam for Zoom background Hi! I have a Macbook Air i3 core so I can't use Zoom backgrounds. I was wondering if buying an external webcam would allow me to use these backgrounds, or would it still not work because my laptop is still the i3? Thank you so much!! :) Any help would be appreciated.

The iMac has a single single FaceTime HD Camera on the front.
