I have lost the preview pane to the right of the messages. Someone suggested in another thread to look for the double lines and move them to show the preview. Not working for me. I have Show Side Preview and column layout enabled.

You have to hover the cursor near the right edge of the Mail window until you see the left pointing cursor, click then drag the cursor to the left until the preview pane pops open. About 50% of the width of the Mail window.
