How can I update FCP to 10.4.6 ?

I am a FINAL CUT user. My Imac is running OS High Sierra Version 10.13.6. I need to update to version 10.4.6 in order to rework a film I cut last year. I am currently on version 10.4.5. The app store does not give me an option to do so. As soon as I click update the wheel starts turning but nothing happens.

Any ideas or suggestions?

I am freaking out, if I dont update I cannot access the the film.

Make a zip of your existing version. Drag the application to the trash and download from the Purchased section of the App Store.

You will be warned that the current version (10.4.8) is not compatible with your OS and allowed to get the most recent version that is.
