I checked the serial number and it says that my airpods pro had been replaced. What happen?

AirPod replacement I got an AirPod replaced because it kept going static when you would put them on. But now the old one and new one will not pair at the same time. I’ve reset the AirPod pros 5 times and charged them up fully together but they just won’t work together. It’s either one or the other that can play music at once.
