Updating of payment method in apple store

Hi! I just bought an iPad Pro and an apple pencil from the apple us store. The Pencil, along with the free airpods were delivered first and I was deducted 300 dollars upon shipment of those 2 accessories.


Right now the iPad pro 11 inches has been delayed because the store "can't access my card for payment". So I updated the payment method. And clicked PAY NOW to update the billing. After the page loaded nothing happened after. But I got a confirmation email that my payment method was changed. What I'm curious about is that when I go to the apple store, my order still says "Your order is on hold" even though I already updated my info. And my order hasn't had the "order placed" on the the green bar that appears when you order from the apple store.


Please help.
