Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have family sharing set up and all are on except Apple Music. When I try to turn it on, I get an add to sign up for unlimited music from Apple. When I select "Not Now", it goes back to the Family Sharing Settings page with Apple Music turned off.
I want to share music with my wife who is on the Family Sharing with me.
There are separate Individual and Family Apple Music plans. It’s probably asking you to upgrade your plan when you try turning on Apple Music Sharing under Family Sharing.
If this is the problem you could try upgrading your plan first then turn Family Sharing on.
