WhatsAp desktop is crashing on openning

This morning July 23 the application WhatsApp started crashing when I open the application. Running High Sierra. I deleted and reinstalled the app from the Apple store. Still the same issue. I thought it was my iMac, but I read that not only I who is having the same issues. So, I felt better, at least its not the computer.

I think the problem started 2 days ago, either after security update or the app update.

Using WhatsApp everyday, and not having it any longer, its hurts.

Does anyone have the same issue, and is there a solution?

Hello my friend, How are you.

I am having the same problem, Please let me know what you fixed it.

I was using Whatsapp Desktop today on my mac and was not able to connect to my phone. So I forced the app to quit and then I had this problem. It opens on the task bar but does not open.

I tried deleting the app the manually and reinstalling but the app will just not open a display screen

Any help would be awesome

Many thanks

Brian
