I got my phone a couple months ago, and on day one, i kept getting spam messages for someone named daniel about things like pills, streaming service subscriptions, etc. Is there any way to stop them from texting me? I've tried blocking them, but they just start doing it on a different number.

There is one thing you can do to help minimize the annoying-ness of it.. I don't know about you, but when I get spam texts it's usually at the most inconvenient times, say when I'm in the middle of something at work.. and the distraction of the notification is what makes me mad.
There is a switch you can flip in Settings > Messages called 'Filter Unknown Senders'. I just recently discovered this.
For me it has the potential to be a partial solution as I shouldn't get distracted by my Watch buzzing at the time of the text and only notice the spam texts when I go into my phone and look. A small prize for sure, but it's something?

this does work for some of the more annoying ones, but some of them still get through. Anyways, thank you!
