Lost Contacts through deleted account

I recently deleted an email account on my iPhone and lost all contacts. Is there anyway to restore the account and contacts before it's too late? Can I use a previous iCloud backup to restore the contacts.

Deleted Contacts on iPhone, no backup Hello, I deleted an email account from my phone without realizing some of my contacts were attached to it and not my main iCloud user ID. I lost all of those contacts and they don't seem to be backed up anywhere. Is it possible to get them back? Thanks!

Lost contacts. I had 2 accounts on my iPhone. It originally was a phone used as my work phone with an email of my office and Exchange server information. After I retired I added my personal email accounts to this phone. Today I deleted my old email and now I'm missing quite a few of my contacts. How can I get those back? I went to iCloud and did a restore of contacts but that did not bring back the contacts I am previously missing.. Any other ideas? Pam

Try - If you accidentally deleted your calendars, bookmarks, or contacts from iCloud - Apple Support.
