Audio in Zoom - iPad?

Hello: 1) yes, I have just posted a question at Zoom website; 1a) yes,I have viewed the single reply posted in apple support community, where it says "contact zoom support" as the approved apple answer. 2) We use free zoom. Zoom support is minimal or none for free zoom. 3) video works fine. 4) there is no audio even Zoom test mode. 5) when an external speaker is plugged into iPad speaker jack, in a real Zoom meeting, audio occurs. 6) I want audio to be output so that 6a) Zoom test puts out sound in iPad's own internal speakers and 6b) once 6a is working, sound will transmit via lightning cable to HDMI on smart TV. 7) audio is transmitted from iPad to smart TV via HDMI, for non-Zoom apps. It is only Zoom that does not send audio via HDMI. (Zoom does transmit video to smart TV for real meeting.)

-What is community experience getting audio in free Zoom on an iPad (iOS 12.4.8)?
