I'm tryin to use my Bose Soundlink to listen to music off my MacBook Pro, but it causes my wifi to have a lot of issues. The connection for the bluetooth is find and works. And my wifi bars display as fine, but it periodically stops working and is really inconsistent.
How can I fix this?

In the example, the interference point was between my bass module & my router. However, it may be possible that same interference is occurring between your Mac's AirPort wireless card and speaker, such that, the wireless card is having difficulty keeping a strong connection to your wireless router. Since you are on a different floor, most likely, your Mac is connecting to your router's 2.4 GHz band.
One simple test is to take your notebook & Bluetooth speaker down to where your router is located and see if this issue continues. One reason it may not is that your notebook will probably be connected to the router's 5 GHz network.

You basically have three options, at this point:
Bluetooth operates near the same frequency range as the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band. FWIW, I have an older Bose entertainment speaker system that uses Bluetooth for its bass module. If this module is placed near my wireless router, it does affect the signal quality of that band and my wireless devices have difficulty either connecting or staying connected. The solution, for me, was to move the module farther away from the router.
I think moving downstairs seems to help. I still notice a little lag, but before it was failing to connect at all so it's an improvement.
