Call from supposed Apple Care about Russian Breach

I have received multiple calls from Del ray Beach FL from supposed Apple Care wanting me to go into my computer to check if a Russian hacker is using my I Cloud. When I call them back it says number disconnected, after the third call I listened to the end and it said to call customer support toll free at 202-262-****. I did not. It sounded very real. The people on the end say lets check your computer and go to the Window key and type in crg or crm. Not sure didn't do it but it was scary. How do we get the word out about this scam.

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.

Tell your friends that all such calls are scams.

Tell your family that all such calls are scams.
