Are these calls from Apple?

I am receiving calls from 714-596-**** saying I need to contact Apple Support Advisor at 315-232-**** before I open any Apple device. I have received 6 of these calls within the last hour with the last four digits of the number changed each time. They are from Huntington Beach, CA.

Well, they zone in on one legit phone number and you know the saying "when at first you don't succeed, try again"...... So, they think they can scare you if they keep telling you the same thing again and again. Most of the time these are automated (robo) calls; there is no person involved until after you press 1 or whatever they tell you to do. If you don't bite, the'll abandon the effort and try the next phone number hoping to catch a victim.

Some months back my mother-in-law was getting 6 - 10 calls a day for a week. All exactly the same really bad automated message about her Apple account having been hacked. After a while the automated system gets a clue you aren't bitting and stops.

I was getting repeated calls last week from an equally, poorly done automated message saying they were from the U.S. drug task force, and my Social Security would be suspended or cancelled if I didn't … And I don't know what the rest of that baloney was since it was the furthest I listened on the first one. While I'm getting there, I'm not even on SS yet.
