Apple earbuds and charging cables repeatedly lose connection with my iPhone X
Since getting my iPhone X shortly after that model's release, it has frequently lost connection via the Apple charging/syncing cable and Apple wired earbuds. The connector is loose in the port and the least jiggle to the left or right causes signal loss. This occurs with or without a case. BTW, my minimal case has a wide aperture for the charging port. The edges of the cable connector do not hang on the case. Cleaning the port has no effect on this issue. A quick search of the loose-port issue reveals it has been around since iPhone 6 and Apple has not mustered the professionalism to fix it. Apple has the best phones, hands down, when it comes to functionality and (apparently) to privacy considerations. This persistent design flaw is immensely annoying. My family has had iPhones since 2003. I will not purchase another iPhone until this fixed. And no, I don't want to ignore the issue by getting AirPods and a wireless charger. I want Apple to fix this issue so I can use the expensive cables and earpods I already have.
