Transfering apple care to new device
I want to upgrade my computer and have 2 years left in my apple care in my current computer... can I transfer it if I trade it in?
MacBook, macOS 10.14

FWIW. I recently upgraded to a new Mac mini, trading in my older model which still had an active AppleCare+ plan. In this case, Apple refunded the remaining balance of that existing plan back to my original purchase method. I had to purchase a new plan for the new device.

Thank you!
Thank you!
I am not sure if you can do this - check this article or contact Apple. I know you can transfer to a new owner if you sell it, but I do not think you can transfer to a new device. You can cancel the current coverage, get a partial refund, and buy new coverage for the new one.
