Apple Care Plan

If I trade my computer in through Apple Trade In, am I able to transfer the existing purchased Apple Care Plan over to the new computer?

No, but you can get a partial refund on the old plan and buy a new plan. See: Cancel or change the payment method for your AppleCare plan - Apple Support
