OTG Cable to USB-C

Hello,

I’ve just got an iPad Pro 2018 and as you all know it, it features an USB-C port.

I have a lot of devices with a regular USB port that I need to convert to USB-C to connect to my new iPad.

At the same time, I have an OTG cable from my android phone that has USB-C.

Can I use this cable to convert my devices or do I have to buy another adapter from regular USB to USB-C from Apple?

Does the fact of this being an OTG cable with extra wiring can damage my new iPad?

Thank you.
