I believe your question as asked here is a simple one. I am puzzled why Adobe can't answer it.

Even if volunteers here have experience with your issue, it's risky to provide you an "answer" which should come from the app's developer. We can be misunderstood, misquoted and frankly, wrong.

It's unfortunate they aren't supporting their app, but nobody here can or should speak for Adobe.

If you use Time Machine, you can always roll back if issues come up.
