how to you get help from apple over a purchase in my history?
i purchased an album in 2014 from itunes, it shows up as a purchase. I cannot see that album under itunes store purchases to redownload.

See the "If you don't see the item that you want to redownload" section in:
Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books - Apple Support
It may also be that the artist requested the album be removed from the iTunes Store.
Also, if you see items in your purchase history but you can't redownload them, report a problem.
