iPad 7th Generation slightly bent by smart connector area

I have the 10.2 inch iPad 7th Generation and I noticed a bend on the left side of the device by the smart connector. I don't see how this could have happened as I have kept it in a case its whole life and have babied it as much as possible. I have never sat on it or anything like that either. Also I have noticed that the glue is more visible on the left side of the device then the right (ill include pictures if possible). Is this a manufacturing defect or something? I've seen something similar on the older generation iPad Pros with the old style smart connector as well but I assumed if that was an issue they would fix it. My iPad is only a few months old and I am wondering what would happen if I took it to apple?

Picture of the case bending away revealing the glue.
