Random stuff starts opening and typing

So today i woke up and decided to google something on my iPad. It randoms started tapping things when i was trying to text my friend. It started typing random letters and then i went to the home screen and it started opening files, youtube, gmail and hangouts. Recently i did crack my iPad badly so i thought glass just got into it and was sliding around the screen tapping random things. I would like help in case this is a bug.
