I have an iPad that got locked I don't know how(my niece was playing with it).When I tried to unlock the device I can't do it because the message is sending to my icloud(that is locked) and I can't access cause it's locked.

Sounds like it’s activation locked to someone’s Apple ID, so if you don’t have access to that Apple ID to be able to disable activation lock, then your only other option is to provide Apple the receipt, proving the purchase of the device. If they can validate your receipt, they may be able remove activation lock from the device. Hope it works out!

If this is a used device, you need to be able to contact the previous owner to have them log out of iCloud or go to https://www.icloud.com/find/ My Phone and erase the device, then remove it from their account. If you can’t do that, the device is useless. Apple won't unlock it.

If you are the original owner, contact Apple. Apple can remove the Activation Lock if provided the required paperwork. Either take the device, the original purchase receipt with the serial number, and a photo ID to the nearest Apple Store (if it has reopened)

Hey there! When you say it’s locked, what do you see exactly? Can you not get into the iPad at all unless your Apple ID password is entered? Or you can get into the iPad but just can’t access the settings?
Hi! the iPad it show the intro you get when you reset to factory, like the welcome thing, and you need to introduce your id and password
