Film taking too long to share

Hi

I'm working on a mid015 MBPro, running Mojave 10.14.6.

I am trying to share a 6.5 minute film using the Export File settings. It's taken 25 minutes to get to 22%. That's way, way, way too long for a film estimated to be 900mb.

I tried restarting and trying again to share, no improvement.

I tried eporting a 7.5 minute film, it took 2 minutes.

Any idea the problem?

Hi Tom

Thanks for the reply.

Interesting questions.

Safari running, but not Chrome, tho for working from home, I've been using Chrome frequently. Does Chrome interfere with FCPX when both are being used? Seems like I've heard about that.

This is an older film, from 2010 and the camera was 1440x1080 spread to 1920.

But if there's something messing with it—Bingo! How bout Neat. I'm also using it to clean up some noise, FCPX's noise filter doesn't seem to do as good a job, but that was only a cursory attempt. (How well have you found it's native noise filter to work? Not an easy task to begin with.)

Also, like other jobs, the others being 4K tho, it started out playing fine, then as I worked, the playback deteriorated.

But I'd give sans Neat a try.

Overall what think you?

Thanks again!
