I was watching adult content then I closed the tab and it came up like a pop up and said I got a virus watching adult content so Is it a actual virus or a scam?

It also directed me to a anti-virus app when I clicked on it because I panicked then downloaded it but then immediately deleted as soon as I realised it could have been a scam also I downloaded a actual anti-virus app.
Yes, that is the usual scam. The criminals are trying to scare you into downloading useless software, or surrendering your personal and financial information.
