Using AirPods to Transmit Input to PC Audio Output

I want to setup my AirPods so I can use them as a microphone for live presentations. Not for recording my voice or making videos, just to transmit and amplify my live voice through PC computer speakers (audio output). I don't want to hear myself, or anything else, in the AirPods output. Just utilize them as a microphone/transmit system.

Is this possible? I'm looking to do this with Windows PC and/or a Chromebook. I would prefer not to use another Apple product in this setup (although I do have iPhone, iPad and an older MacBook). Basically looking for anyway I can use AirPods as a microphone to amplify my voice in a medium-sized room full of socially distanced people.

thanks for any help!
