My Acer AL2216W Display

My Acer AL2216W Display is 'not supported' by my Mac Mini 2018? Do I need a new monitor with 4096 x 2160 capability?

Mac mini 2018 or later

The Acer AL2216W is 1680 x 1050.. Is has a DVI port so should work with a USB-C to DVI cable from one of the mac Mini's Thunderbolt 3/USB-C ports.

You could also connect it to the mac Mini's HDMI port with an adapter.
