iPad showing up with what looks like an ipv6 address on google but nowhere else.

My friend noticed her iPad is showing up as having what looks like an ipv6 address in her google account security/signed in devices, but nowhere in settings or anywhere else does it say anything about an ipv6. Our network is only ipv4 and we have never set up the router to give out ipv6 addresses.

The only place it shows up is google so far. She’s logged into gmail and YouTube on her iPad. When she signs in on safari it shows the normal address.

She’s afraid her ipad has somehow been compromised but has no idea how. Is it normal for an iPad to show up with a weird address like that? All of our other devices are showing up with ipv4 and change when we connect and disconnect from the wifi. Her iPad ipv6 address stays the same no matter what she does.

Is there anything she can do and is this something she should be worried about?

Thanks.

Hello,

Some websites will display the ipv6 address rather than the ipv4 address. This is not something to be concerned about.
