Drop down menus in safari broken

It kind of happens randomly but sometimes when a site I'm on has a drop down menu and I click it all of the menu items are overlapping so much that you cant read or select an option

I tried clearing the cache through safari developer and deleted the only extension I had installed and neither helped. Thoughts?

Safari won't access website the first time typing it into the address bar I've been using Chrome for years now and decided I should give Safari a try again. I don't have any extensions. The issue I'm having right now is typing websites into the address bar. It never loads the website the first time. The website I would type in will disappear instantly after I hit "enter", and then the address bar will be empty or it will stay on the website I'm already on. It will only load the website the second time that I type. I've tried unchecking "include search engine suggestions". I've cleared the cookies.

How to prevent safari dropdown with search suggestions from showing after search completion. Hello, in Safari address/search bar after I typed the text I want to search, I press the Return key. The search occurs and completes showing the webpage of the search engine. but this drop-down (see red frame in screenshot) keeps showing after the search completed. this prevents opening pages with one click. and ALWAYS have to click out in empty space to get this drop-down gone first. The most illogical in this is that this drop-down brings no added value, and could be removed to improve user experience. Does someone have a solution to get rid of this useless drop-down list? Thanks in advance.
