my homepod does not connect with iPhone

My iphone cannot find and connect to the homepod. Both devices have been restarted and updated. There is an icon of a homepod in the Home app, but when I want to send music to the pod, the iphone cannot see the device.

Try rebooting the wifi router.

Make sure they’re both on the same network. In the Home App long press on HomePod- Tap on the gear icon, lower right and scroll down to wifi address , tap that to see the name of the network

Try resetting network settings on the iPhone in settings- general - reset

Check that your iPhone has Bluetooth turned on

make sure that you are signed in to iCloud with your Apple ID and have turned on iCloud Keychain
