iCloud Whatsapp backup stucks

Hello,

I have a 16GB iPhone 6. I'm using whatsapp in this device and today I noticed that the iCloud backup of Whatsapp did not completed.

I have enough space on iCloud (Actually nothing but whatsapp) and the device itself.

When I start the backup process, whatsapp creates the backup and starts uploading. but everytime it stucks at 27-28 MB.

I have tried to remove the files from icloud and start over, restarting the phone but did not worked.

I think my problem is not an internet connection problem, because it swiftly uploads the first 28 MB.

How can I solve this problem?

And one more question: Does iTunes PC backup contains Whatsapp chat backup? (I've seen some posts that says 'yes' but they have old dates. I thought maybe that feature has been removed because of the iCloud backup.)

Update: After reading the Whatsapp's website about backup problems; I've noticed that: "There must be enough free space on both your iCloud and iPhone. You need to have at least 2.05 times the space available in your iCloud account and on your phone than the actual size of your backup."

So I've reduced the size of the backup by deleting some unnecessary videos and tried again. This time it completed the backup.
