"Emergency.. Phone is too hot"

My phone just said "Emergency Phone is too hot" I am inside my house, not in direct sunlight and the phone is really hot. What do I do?

Turn it off to prevent damage to your device. If it is unusual for it be hot, contact Apple Support at getsupport.apple.com.
